Paneer Kolahapuri Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Paneer cubes
  • 1 Onion
  • 2 Tomatoes
  • 1/2 tsp Ginger Garlic paste
  • 1/4 tsp Cumin seeds
  • 4 tsp dry Coconut
  • 6 whole black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp fennel seeds
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds
  • 1 Cardamom
  • 2 Cloves
  • 6 Cashew nuts
  • 1/2 tsp Red Chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp coriander powder
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • Coriander leaves few.

How to make Paneer Kolahapuri

Step 1

Dry roast the black pepper, dry coconut, sesame seeds, cardamom, fennel and cloves till the coconut turns brown.

Step 2

Lastly, add the cashew nuts and switch of the flame.Grind this into a fine paste, adding a little water.

Step 3

In a pan, pour oil and add the cumin seeds and ginger-garlic paste. Saute in a low flame.

Step 4

Now add finely chopped onions and saute till the onions turn brown.

Step 5

Now add the ground masala. After few seconds, add the finely chopped tomato, red chilli powder, coriander powder and salt.

Step 6

Let this cook for a while in a low flame. Add the paneer cubes and add water to get desired consistency.Garnish with coriander leaves. Serve hot.
